No sound when I play any copied DVD

Hi All
Need some help, got an acer aspire 7730 and i can play a dvd/cd stream of the net hear all the sounds no problem.
the porbel is when I copy a dvd full disc / main movie, I can not ear any sounds.
The sounds section in control panel all work well I get sound on incoming email, itune works how ever not when I do a copy from DVDFab.

Who can point me in the right direction?
it copies the VIdeo_TS
Audio_TS folder is blank is this normal?

It is most probably because you do not have a Dolby Digital 5.1 encoder installed on your PC.

Please download and try the free VLC Player (google it) as it contains all codecs internally and you don't have to mess around with them.

Alternately, you can search and download/install ac3 Filter.

It is normal that AUDIO_TS is blank.
