Have you attempted to troubleshoot this?
First item to try is disable PathPlayer or enable if already disabled.

Please run through the list in my thread:
        Tips on Troubleshooting Analyzing/Ripping dvds
        (link in my sig)
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

PathPlayer was always enabled. I disabled it. I tried again and got the same error. The process log is the same as the first error.

I do not have another optical drive. I will try this (from your thread) next:
Alter the settings in Common Settings > Read.
This is a shot in the dark, but has worked for me a few times).

Tick Ignore all reading errors automatically.
(This may cause you to actually copy read errors, but it may render the disc "rippable" and give you a playable copy) and
            untick Enable read-ahead cache.
The will probably cause a decrease in read speed, but again, may allow the rip to proceed.

I'd clean the disc next...after disabling PP

The disc is spotless and new. I looked to make sure.

This sounds like you have a bad pressing. Take it back and get it replaced.

                    From Tips:
                    3) Clean the disc, even if it looks pristine.

                    and GregiBoy is probably correct:
                    6) Return the disc to the retailer and exchange it.

Your post is the first I've seen on this flick...so who knows???

I had no problems ripping FullDVD for this DVD but will give main movie a try sometime today or tomorrow depends on what else I have that has more priority. I already have to re-rip it with no compression for FullDVD as the picture quality does not look good to me on my 46' TV but I may watch the original before I do that just to make sure it not how it was filmed

AGJ The film is grainy in spots, especially in low light sceens. I did main movie no compression to DL and had to check origional and it also looks grainy in these areas. But a really good movie.

                        Cheers!

                          It worked by doing:
Alter the settings in Common Settings > Read.

It did take significantly long, a couple hours. But the product plays fine.

Thanks chris as that was why I wanted to try DL as I found it grainy but was not sure if that was how they filmed it or not. Anyway I have a DL rip saved on HDD instead of SL and no need to burn it onto a DL as I have the original and the SL back up as well

No need to do that as I did main movie just fine for this DVD and did not have your problem. I have pathplayer set to always enabled and it ripped and burned to a DVD-RW blank without error.

Go and exchange it for another DVD as it sounds like it a bad disc but if you are happy with the back up you managed to get then I am happy that it worked for you
