v7.0.7.0 hangs when Shutter Island DVD is inserted.

Hello,

When I insert Shutter Island the "Open DVD source" scan begins but after a few minutes DVDFab becomes unresponsive.

I've tried setting pathplayer on/off/auto.

This is all I get for logs:

I'm new here, so let me know what other info I can provide.

The software does not have a problem ripping Shutter Island so take a look at your source disc.

Have you tried cleaning it?

Does it have any scratches?

Have you tried more than one drive to read it?

Are you doing full disc?
Movie only?

Download nero cd/dvd speed and check your source disc for errors.

Thanks Gruñón - although the disk is brand new I am getting read errors with the tool recommended.

I am on a laptop but I did swap out a different drive and tried cleaning the disk.

I will replace the disk and try again.
