The only thing I can see right away is that Error 122 you are getting means your drive has poor compatibility with the media you are using.

Sony D21 disc are know to give problems with some drives . I am not familiar with your drive but I know all 4 of my pioneers do not work well with Sony D21 blanks.

Do you have any other brand you could try.?
Also rip to your hard drive first and then burn from the hard drive.

Further checking shows you are using slimline lap top drive.
            Correct or not?

If so heat with a slimline drive can cause many problems so be sure you are getting some air circulation around it.

              Hi Noot
If I could also add to Gruñón advise try switching to ImgBurn for your burns it is free and you will find it here along with a tutorial on how to set it up

Try some Verbatim with the AZO logo on the label.
Be sure the logo is there in order to get top quality disc.

Without the AZO logo it is a crap shoot.

As the dummy that I am, I am going to ask what is most likely a dumb question. But then my Dad always said, "No question is a dumb question".

Where on the label do I find AZO logo and what does it stand for?

Thanks in advance for answering while you are laughing up you sleeve...

AZO....super AZO, etc., refers to the type (and thus, quality) of the dye.
You'll see it on the spindle label.

Just google Verbatim AZO...look for the verbatim sites

                        Taiyo Yuden also uses

OK I just did this movie using DVDFab Version 7.0.7.6 Beta and it burned with no problem but I use ImgBurn as the burn engine and do not have the VSO installed. I also burned at a 12x speed and used a different drive as the reader since this is a burn problem and not a read problem. Now I suggest that you install ImgBurn to use as the burn engine and below is a link on how to set up ImgBurn to work with DVDFab. Watch the youtube video as it shows you how to do it and the link even gives you the download link for ImgBurn as well

I should add that I have Pathplayer set to Always enabled and my write size for DVD5 is set to 4472mb
