    alice and wolfman

When copying main movie for alice and wolfman, i can play the videos in a dvd player but they hang after the last chapter. When I try to copy from these copies i get a read error. I'm using dvdfab version 7.07.0, under windows xp pro on pioneer dvr-110d.

The thread you posted to is over 2 months old and has nothing to do with your problem.

Post moved to its own thread.

          From your log:
          19:28:52: Task_2 failed! Error=106
          Translation =
106 HWS_BADMEDIASTATUS 6 // Media is not ready to be written

Your burner and/or VSO is having a problem with your blank media (Media ID: RITEKF1).
          Please change your blank media.
Memorex is a poor choice for media as they're made by multiple manufacturers and generally use poor quality, cheap material (eg. dye).
          Overall inconsistent and thus unreliable.

          I generally recommend Taiyo Yuden.
YUDEN T02 is all I use for SL media.
Verbatim has always been a good choice too, but recently has suffered some quality issues.
For more info on this, search for some recent posts by my pal Gruñón such as this one:

Also recommend changing your burn engine to Img.
Here's a great video tutorial on how to set it up as Fab's default burn engine.

Setting Up ImgBurn and DVDab to work together
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Ok I'll change the burning engine and try the other media. Thanks

You should as well update to the latest beta as there have been a few fixes for DVD to DVD since V7.0.7.0 was released. Link to latest beta below
