PS3 sees first disc, not 2nd of split

Having a problem playing DVD movies on the PS3 when they are a custom split over two discs. First disc plays fine, it's 'seen' by the PS and the DVD menus work. Second disc is not even seen by the PS3; doesn't come up on the PS menus.

I split my movie over 2 discs with 'customize split'. Put all the 'extras' and as many of the movie chapters as would fit with no compression on the first disc, then put the rest of the chapters on the 2nd disc.

Ripping with DVDFab and burning with IMGBurn.

What is up with the second disc????

does a DVD player that is not a PS3 play the second disc?

EDIT: You could try going to common settings- DVD to DVD-Customize and change the Default CGP from Black Screen to DVDFab. Not sure what that does so you might want to save to computer first to playback before you burn to DVD

Yes - I have an LG DVD player that sees and plays the 2nd disc just fine.

OK then all I can say is to get better blank media like Verbatim as it seems that the PS3 is being picky with what you have. Not sure if it would help but it might
