program/computer freeze when writing

Using DVD Fab dvd/dvd, 7.0.7.0 with imgburn. media is Sony, burning at 8x. Copy process is perfect. When it begins to write, after 1 minute the program freezes, mouse freezes, and I have to hard-start the computer. Uninstalled the program, reinstalled, worked ok once, then occurred again. I don't know how to display my log for you, but I'm good at directions. Any help would be appreciated.

Look in *My Documents and Settings* for a folder named FAB.
The logs should be there.

Try ripping the move to a hard drive first and play it to make sure the rip is good.
Then burn from the hard drive using Imgburn.

Reading the logs is important to gain information.
