    Trouble with title "100 Feet"

    tried 2 different originals of "100 Feet" and both slow dractically down (0.18 MB/s) at about 72% but still crawling along..tried cleaning both - no better. Vso inspector shows bad sectors..any way to speed up and get around these???
    currently..now at 72.44% at 1:12:00 into rip (copy portion)

    originals were from 2 different locations...maybe "locale" disk errors????

      Hey BB,

      Sorry no help from me, not yet.
      I really like Famke Janssen...very memorable in the remake of House on Haunted Hill and liked her in Don't Say a Word...not too shabby to look at in X-men, the Last Stand...either.

      I think I'll pick this one up tomorrow

        yes...region 1, central Illinois..2 different disks fromm 2 different locations...both had bad sectors at about 72%

          Ok, R1 (Maine)
          Customize Mode, Title 3 (movie) and both audio tracks, AC-3/5.1 and AC-3/2.
          (Subtitles N/A)

          Just ripped it with 6.1.1.5 PP enabled...no problems.
          Bkup plays without issues in standalone.
          Interestingly, it took longer than normal to rip...just slow...to the tune of about 20 minutes rip time.
          No particular rough patch, just slow and steady at 4.5 - 5 MB/s.

          Also did it with 6.1.1.5 PP disabled...approx same results and rip speed.
          (Actually about 2 minutes faster overall).
          Playback is just fine.

          Also tried it with Fab 4.1.2.0 PP enabled...took about 1 1/3 minutes to analyze and made virtually no progress on the rip
          ...slowed to 0 MB/sec within seconds.

            title "Ablino Farm" acts the same way..slows down drastically at about 69%.
            I have copied other titles since unable to with "100 Feet"

              Unbelievable!!
              had same problem with "Albino Farm"....slowed down drastically at about 69% on my LG drives. Thought I would try my internal laptop drive MATSHITA UJ- 820S and the copy went OK!
              Going to retry "100 Feet" later.

                Just ripped "100 Feet" with my laptop internal drive...went OK...surprised that both LG's didn't like these titles!
