How do I slow down my write speed

    hi

Just a quick question for you all. I've just started using imgburn. My question is when it is burning the DVD my external DVD drive goes at full speed. And I've noticed on the screen it says write speed maximum. I was just wondering if anyone can let me know how to slow it down. I would like to use 4x speed if I could. Thanks for all your advice.

Your best bet is to take a few minutes and set up the Automatic Write Speed option in Img
You'll never have to select write speeds again unless you add new burners or MIDS.

Here'a great video tutorial (links to several actually) and some tips

Be certain to select "recommended" as the speed if you set up the Auto Write Speed feature

If you choose not to use the Auto Write option,
you should also be able to select the write speed in Fab (Common Settings), but this isn't always reliable
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
