    Can't recognize blank media in 'dvd to dvd'

    Okay, odd problem that is driving me crazy.

    Dvdfab doesn't recognize the blank media when burning 'dvd to dvd'

    I have to finish then restart the program using the 'write media' option to burn onto the disk previously rejected.

    Any clues what i'm doing wrong?

      No idea how to do that.

      It just spits the blank out.......'No media detected'

        The default location is:
        C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

        Don't upload the whole thing...just copy and paste the last one or 2 attempts, but be certain to include all the logs

            First you are using V 7082...update to V7090.

            Look at your log highlighted in red.........

            You are trying to burn at 8X max speed but the fastest your burner will burn your blank disc is 2.4X.

            Try 4X instead of 8X.

            Your burner does not like the media you are using.
            The media is very low quality.

              Why does it reject the media in dvd to dvd but is more than happy to burn the same dvdfile on to the exact same disk in media to dvd mode?

                Give ImgBurn a try as the burn engine. Below is link on where to get it and how to set DVDFab and ImgBurn to work nice together
