I use it to spot anything right off the bat. I then double check it at a later time when I feel like watching the movie. I went to Sam's Club and they didn't have the discs I need. I asked a clerk there when they'd be in stock and he said he didn't even know 8.5GB discs existed...All he's ever known them to carry is 4.7GB. I checked the website and they have 3 discs for $16.99 plus $13.89 shipping......Meaning 3 discs=$30.80 That price is ridiculous. Any other places that sell them for a reasonable price. I understand they'll cost a bit more than Memorex, or DVD5, but $10 a disc is a bit out there.

The burn part was successful but the verify part was not. I not know why you use the verify part of imgBurn as it not as accurate as actually watching the DVD. I do not have the veify on and all the DVDs I have made play perfectly even the ones I made 5 years ago with cheap memorex. Maybe when you get your Verbatim the verify will work since they are better blank media than what you are using now

Thank you for the help. I have successfully uninstalled the drive. I am attempting to burn yet again using my Memorex 8.5GB. I know I need Verbatim, bit at the moment I have no money to buy them. So it will be about a week before I can get them. Friday my parents are running me to Sam's to see if they have them in stock. Until then, since my Memorex are complete crap anyway, I suppose I'll waste up my Memorex discs trying to get them to work. Not really that big a loss since otherwise I'd just be throwing them in the trash. Also I wanna post my burn log to see if everything else, apart from the brand on disc I'm using, is ok. I know I'm using the wrong disc I just want to make sure all my settings are right, and everything else is working as it should. Thank you guys so much. You're always so helpful. Just as last time I got great advice, and everyone here was friendly and helped me reach a solution. This is by far one of the best forum communities I know of. Thanks a million guys.

You need to remove the driver also. Not only Daemon Tools.

W 00:22:28 Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance.

I checked to see if I had Alcohol or Daemon Tools installed and I don't. ImgBurn worked perfectly fine with Memorex 4.7GB until I uninstalled it and reinstalled the newer version. Now it doesn't work with any of my discs (Memorex 4.7GB, Memorex 8.5GB, Philips 4.7GB) Previously it did work for the 4.7GB of both Philips, and Memorex.

I think this problem is with my settings on ImgBurn, because previously Memorex 4.7GB discs worked fine. Now not even they will work. But I am going to buy Verbatim 8.5 GB anyway.

As I stated previously, I doubt that your burner and firmware support the Moser Baer (crap) media.
Your problem will be exceedingly difficult to troubleshoot until this is remedied.
You also have a problem with this:

You probably have Daemon Tools and/or Alcohol installed.
This will continue to cause I/O conflicts.
Please uninstall this driver and the software.
You can use DVDFab Virtual Drive in their place without this conflict

I uninstalled ImgBurn and downloaded the newest version. Any chance someone know the correct settings? It went back to default settings and I remember last time I was told to change some stuff.
