How or what do i do to fix this problem? Replace my dvdr drive?

Try better media for a start.

Use either Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

Both are top quality blank media.
Verbatim can be found at many brick&mortar stores such as BestBuy, Wallyworld, Sam's Club, OfficeMax, etc., etc.
and also online.
Taiyo Yuden is available only online...for most of the planet...

I have been useing memorex brand of disks.

Maineman, thanks for the assist as well. I am located in New York State (Outside of the City)

I will check at wallmart and best but tommorrow.

update

Sorry I took so long in returning.

I tried Verbatim. First disc worked great. Succesful burn.

second disk, copy origional succesful.

Inserted another Verbatim blank disk. dvd fab started trying to format disk. unsucessful.

Same problem I am haveing with Memorex disks.

What should I try next.
