W2000-Problem

Hi,

my W2000 prof. doesn't work with newer versions of DVDFab. The last working version was 6. While trying to start I see the egg timer symbol for a moment then nothing happens and no DVDFab is shown as running in the task manager.

PS:

Wouldn't it be good to offer an update for the good old working version 6 to make it decrypt any protection instead of update to 7 or 8 that are not working properly as the posts in forum are showing?

Never change a running system!

Above all, DVDFab 8.0.0.2 should support W2000...

6.0.2.2 was the last good program

Maybe, but if you look at the recommended system W2000 is included.

I tried DVDFab Passkey beta. To use with DVDFab 6.0.2.2 was impossible!!! I tried to use with a simple free DVD copy program and it worked. But the result was not playable *grrr*

And I thought DVDFab is the best... :-(

I'm running 2000 prof. and fab is running ok for me there is something somewhere running that is inhibiting fab to run on your machine

Now version 8.0.0.5 is out and the program starts!!!

But it doesn't read DVDs :-(

6.0.2.2 still does...

with version 7.0.8.2 it works now. The program starts, reads the DVD and makes a backup of the DVD that 6.0.2.2 could not backup.
Version 8 is already deleted...

I've been in touch with Fengtao and I did hear back from him a couple of days ago...sorry to be so tardy in getting back to you.

In any case, the development team currently is testing on W2000 and we should hear back soon.
Fengtao will probably post here himself, but I'll make certain the info gets posted.
