Since I live in the US I haven't tried this yet but I'm wondering why you selected "customize" instead of "main movie". I've never used "customize" but it appears the difference is you can select more than one title which doesn't appear to be necessary with this DVD. Am I missing something?

                      iron man 2

I am having a problem trying to copy the disc. When I put the original disc in, the little blue box that tries to process the disc before burning it comes on and keeps trying to process it. It never goes any further. I had this problem with one other movie and there was a DVDfab uprade that I downloaded which solved the problem. I don't see another upgrade so does anyone have any ideas? thanks.

Try cleaning the disk with some glass cleaner and a soft cloth or kleenex. That usually works for me.

Since nobody bothered to answer my question, I'll answer it myself now that I've backed up the disk. The answer is that you don't need to use the "customize" function. The "main movie" function worked for me.

                            Successful Backup of Ironman 2

I have had good luck backing up Ironman 2 to DVD5 using the method prescibed by another member. I used the last available beta iteration of dvdfab . Choose Main Movie, Customise and then check 29. Backup was perfect. It does take awhile for dvdfab to recognize the movie initially, but just be patient. Disregard the high gigabyte notation for the movie because it will be compensated by dvdfab. I did turn off pathfinder.

1st thing i did was put the original movie in my dvd player and and hit play. then i hit the info button to see what track/ title # was playing. It happened to be #29 which everyone mentioned in this thread. When the disc wouldn't read i disabled pathplayer, disc opened up, and i selected title#29. Read like a charm. Then i verified it in my dvd player again. Played fine. v8.0.0.5

No luck with any of these!!

I have Windows Vista as an OS, so maybe that is making a difference. I disabled pathfinder, tried both the Customize and Main Movie, and the DVD was parsed. However, each time I clicked Start, DVDFab 8 shut down. Still waiting for a fix from the company.
