error trying to read: 102 Brand new Tinkerbell movie just released yesterday

Hey guys, first post. Did read over the forums already to find and answer and hope I give enough info to help diagnose it, heres what we got....

    DVDFAB DVDCOPY version 8.0.1.5

at 6% get the following pop up error:

    Reading/Writing Error Control
    F:\[tinkerbell_gfr]
Error while reading! Please choose what to do

The only way I could even get it started was to disable PathPlayer. It starts then at 6% I get this error message. It plays fine in the dvd player and I even wiped the disk anyways. Looks perfect. I tried this on my media center running 8.0.1.5 and my desktop running 7.x.x.x and it quits equally the same at 6% with the 102 error. I unchecked the read cache and that didnt help. I chose to always ignore errors, it got up to 50% and gave an error saying could not get video quality or something akin. I dont think its the disk because playback is fine just wondering if its a new protection type scheme tricking the software. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks~

    Please enable PathPlayer.
DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.

Enabling pathplayer causes an endless cycle with it reading the disk when first inserted. Blue bar fills up, the emptys and starts over endlessly. Never get to the screen to choose output options or anything else.

Well now time to eat crow. When I read your post i re-enabled pathplayer and let it cycle while I responded to the post and after 6 min it loaded to the screen and its letting me copy now. Sorry to be impatient

It may have taken so long because the error you were getting is a read error and something on or in the disc is causing the delay.

FYI being able to play on a standalone player has no bearing on if a disc can be copied or not... Apples and Oranges.
