Agreed! If it's a false positive, it's Kaspersky's chore to fix the heuristic algorithm.

Hello, i'm having the same issue. Is DVDfab going to issue a revised version of the software that doesn't conflict with Kaspersky KIS 2011?

Kaspersky KIS 2011 needs to issue a revised version of their virus definitions so not see as false positive

I am sorry for the question, but is there any way for us to be sure that it is really a FALSE psitive?

Well let's see Zone Alarm has no problems with it, Microsoft Security Essentials has no problems with it, Malwarebytes has no problems with it and IObit Security 360 has no problems with it. These are what I use on my computers and malwarebytes is the best of the best for finding trojans and virus

This is the solution to get DVDfab being left alone from Kaspersky
Please add DVDfab into the exclusion list for Kaspersky
The instructions below are for 2011

Having same problem upon launch with 8020 as did with 8017b. Received an error message: DVDFab.exe Application Error The application failed to initiate properly (0xc015002). Click OK to terminate the application.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I removed the 8020 and installed 8005 version and app launched no problems. Updated to 8020 again and received the same error message upon launch. Have no virus protector, running on system, running XP SP2

                      give them time

my update will not open as well, but give them some time.if this big demand is for iron man 2,enjoy your copy and back it up later.i concider myself to be the most impatient person on the planet, but i know it can't be easy to solve problems like this in a day, give them some time so they can do it right.

                      thanks
