Using DVDfab 8.0.0 .5 dated 25 August 2010 we have a problem making copies of DVD college lectures. The original DVD disc plays and copies fine and does show the amount of megabytes relative to the disk however, the copy of the DVD will play on a DVD player however we cannot make a copy of the copy and play it on a DVD player. Please be patient we are trying to explain as best we can understand what we are seeing and experiencing. When we open the original CD drive with disk of a normal disk we will have both video_TS and audio_TS file although the audio_TS folder is usually empty the video_TS folder seems to have everything present. We have noticed that when there are both folders audio and video even though audio is empty we usually can see megabytes and will not have problems making copies however, when there are no megabytes present in the quality bar at the bottom of the software we cannot make a playable copy of that DVD even though we can play that DVD on a DVD player and see and hear both video and audio. Is there any way to fix this so that we can make copies of these DVDs with 0 MB recorded? Thank you for your patience. Hopefully this makes sense.

It would be easier to read it it was not all run together in what looks like one long sentence. In paragraphs for instance.

DVDFab is made to copy protected movies and has known problems making copies of copies that are not protected.

You do not need fab to make copies, you can use any burning software you have to copy a disc.

If Fab is all you have try turning off Pathplayer and rip the disc to your hard drive and burn from there using the Write Data mode.

I am assuming you are not using the free version as it will not burn and will only rip.

We appologize,You are correct, long sentence and you are so helpful. We use voice recognition (hands and feet disabled) to type so sometimes it is a big breath like kindergarteners explaning something important.
We are not using the free version.
We have other available -- -- Ripit4me, Roxio Creator platinum, DVD shrink, imageburn, DVD decryptor, or any suggestions.

WOW turned off Pathplayer and the MB #s returned. Am copying now. Using DVDfab copied disc will play on the Windows media player but will not play in DVD player. Yet the original copy will play in the DVD player and recognize it. The copy of the copy seems to get stuck on title.

We will try write data mode and report back some time later today. Since the megabytes numbers returned we thought a pure copy using DVDfab software would work. Unfortunately it did not enough so that we could play it in any DVD player.

Thank you so much for your assistance and kindness and patience. And I guess we are a bit slow as to the difference of burning and ripping. And then copying. We just want to duplicate these discs on another disk that will play on two a DVD player. We realized after years of doing this that we do not know that much about process and it is complicated. Thank you again.

We will do your suggestions of ripping the disk to the hard drive and burn using write data mode.

have you tried using your Roxio yet to make the copy of this DVD? I'm sure it not copy protected so should work

Please install our latest version of DVDFab 8.0.1.7 Beta at , then load a DVD, choose Full Disc or Main Movie mode, wait for the analyzing process finish, then check if you can get proper quality readout or not. If not, please offer a visually screenshot, thanks.
