    can't copy

    Hi brasstownjim,

    1) Please understand that "Task_1 failed! Error=102" error message that means DVD_Error_ReadFile (failed to read original disc's File ).

    2) Please check if this original disc is bad (dirty/scratched). Clean it firstly before you copy.

And if it doesn't help, you had better return your DVD for exchange.

    3) Don't forget to clean your drive as well - it needs to be cleaned once in a while, time spent on basic maintenance will give you more satisfaction with the next process.

    Best regards,

I always clean disk using dv d dr a motorized unit as i mentioned passkey did show possible bad sectors.

I ordered a disk scratch remover unit and will test but does anyone have opinions on these machines?

        Hi brasstownjim,

For your problem, please copy other DVDs to see if this ("Task_1 failed! Error=102") is a universal problem or just for this one DVD?

Please also click the tick green icon button at the right top corner of the DVDFab screen, open "Common Settings" window, click on "Pathplayer", set as "Always enable PathPlayer" to see the result.

        Regards,

        mona
