    Still cannot copy Christmas Carol

Still get reading error at about 1.05% on full copy. No matter wether the pathplayer is on or off. Have even gone as far back as Version 7093 with same results. Have also tried the new Beta with same resluts.

I believe a lot of these Christmas Carol discs are borderline bad. There's a lot of people getting errors with them, and some people are having no problems with them. So it might possibly be a bad disc, but just for fun, please post your DVDFab logfiles as directed in the Help Us Help You sticky.

      Can't copy this either....

I've tried everything...PathPlayer on and off, different versions of DVDFab--Nothing. Same error message everyone else is getting.

Any other suggestions? Perhaps it is the disc??

              can't copy

              Hi dollarbillwi,

              1) Please check if this original disc is bad (dirty/scratched). Go clean it firstly before you copy, and if it doesn't help - return your DVD for exchange. And don't forget to clean your drive as well.

              2) When reading errors appears, please click the tick green icon button at the right top corner of the DVDFab screen, open "Common Settings" window, click on "Read", select "ignore all the reading errors automatically".

              Best regards,
              Anny

I was able to burn Christmas Carol but there was no sound on the movie. There is sound on the previews and menu but not the movie. This also happened with Disney's recent nature film. I changed the A/V codecs to software settings and still no sound.

I just copied the main movie with no subtitles and selected one audio file (English AC-3/5.1) and my copy has sound.

long time user first time poster

So I am one of the unlucky ones who cant get this to copy.

at first I read that others had a bad disc... so thank heaven for walmart I was able to swap it for another no questions asked.

                      it still wont work

I have tried full disc, main movie, ripper option. they all seem to have similar issues

it gets to 1.4% then starts to get read errors... I followed the suggestions to ensure that my pathplayer was enabled and auto ignore the read errors

it seems to skip ahead a few percent then it will stop again... its been over an 20 minutes and I am at 19% and dragging along

I even installed the beta version hoping for a miracle. but it didnt help

my logfile seems pointless but here is what is in it

just thought I would update my situation. I let the disk plod along with the Movie only option (not really what I wanted but it will suffice)
it had 1200+ read errors but finally did finish.

in watching it I noticed lots of pixelation in the first 3 or 4 minutes and some sound hiccups throughout but it did in fact copy.

The sound seemed off by about a second or less throughout as well.

                            Finally

After trying a dozen times in different ways, I decided to, as someone suggested, click "Ignore All Errors." The movie finally copied but it took nearly 2 hours!!!! The playback looks fine for the most part, just an occasional tiling or momentary freeze, but certaily watchable, although I haven't watched it through yet, just indexed to different chapters for a minute or two looksee.
