    DVDFab 6.1.2.5

    Hello:

I just recently upgraded my version. Prior to the upgrade, my target has always been set to my burner. When I obtained this latest version, that was no longer the case and I cannot burn dvds. What can I do to fix this? All I see now is the drive and "lde".

    Some advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

In the Target dropdown select your DVD burner as the target

I am sorry I guess I was not explicit enough.
Before, it would say "D:\[TSST corp DVD+-RW TS-l632d DE03 (lde)]" now its just the "D:\" , the (lde) no longer appears. Basically, I want to know why it wont identify my cd drive explicitly? I cannot select it because it just shows it as a folder. Does that make sense?

Well then try selecting it this way: click the folder next to target, then click computer and then click your DVD drive and then click OK. That has fixed that problem for me in the past on my laptop. The DVD drive will open up for you to insert a blank DVD though

I did as you instructed, but now I get an error 111. Ideas?

            Hi hailo,
            maybe you can try this:
            Delete the Registy Entries:
            UpperFilters
            and
            LowerFilters
            at
            HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class/{4d36e965-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

            Restart

After this my Error 111 problem was history.

            bye Ofen

              Thanks Ofen.

I'm still not seeing my burner on the target portion.

                  Hi:

It says failure to burn. I think my issue is with the target rather than the error. Those other threads don't make sense, sorry!

                  Thanks for the help!

I am having the same problem and notice my target has changed after the update. I am going to post another thread with a copy of my error log

                        Thanks!

I want to thank everyone for all the help and suggestions. I ended up reinstalling dvdfab and realized I had not check off the install vbo part. After checking this all worked well! Thanks again!
