      posted last 2 copies, 1 with 2.0, 1 with 2.5

both version stall in the high 90% when writing ISO to disk.

but least in 2.0 it would still burn the early shut down ISO

      2.5 will not.

But nero was able to burn it just fine and like before, gets a few mins into credits and just locks up.

Not a big deal, don't need credits but id perfer it would end like a regular DVD does.

Gotta say, so far, even with that discount thats gonna expire tomorrow.
Its not worth buying just yet. When my 30 days expires on the 23th
your gonna need a $5 30 day key for me to hang on n wait for fixes before I buy.

I like the program so far but money is to tight to hope all is well soon.

Or are you gonna hafta drop win2k as supported?

Didn't like XP, Vista was crap, look forward to 7 but need a whole new PC for that.

Look in the Third Party Products and install ImgBurn and Signals suggested and follow Troy512's instructions on how to set it up with Fab. BTW your Lite-on drive also has a firmware update

Not sure how that will help, biggest problem is with DVDfab when its writing the ISO to the hard drive, it stalls out and wont finish.

I can find my way around buring the ISO, if DVDfab would just finish the ISO right.

The firmware update won't help in creating an iso but try the ImgBurn suggestion. The included VSO burn engine has been problematic for many users.

OK I set up Imageburn but can anyone explain it to me.

Ok so Imageburn is writing the ISO file to disk and it does it flawless.
              [Where DVDfab could not.]

Imageburn is also buring the ISO to DVD and does it flawless.

Why in the heck do I need to pay $50 for DVDfab when image burn is doing 98% of all the work?

Does Imageburn get a cut since they are doing all the work?

I'm not sure where to start, but here goes...

LUK! is the author of Imgburn (yes the same developer of the legendary dvd decrypter).

It is freeware only. Img takes no cuts nor does it have any business associations of any kind with any other software.
It is loosely integrated with Fab as is nero. VSO is still the default burn utility.

Img is a burn utlility, but it has the capability to build an .ISO file from a unencrypted VIDEO_TS Folder.
                It will not decrypt...period

If I recall details from your posts, I believe one of the members recommended switching to Img as he suspected a problem with VSO.
