BD Ripper (3D Plus) Ps3 wont play default?

Hi, i am ripping blu-ray movies to my hardrive to watch on PS3. I have hardrive connected over network to PS3 using Tversity as media server. I am ripping using PS3 default profile and changing bitrate to 7200 and audio to 5.1, it plays great on computer, but ps3 won't play it. When i click on folder in ps3 it comes up as Mpeg2 8.2 mbps, yet on computer it comes up as mp4?
If i rip under ps3 mp4 hd profile the ps3 plays it fine and if i click on folder in ps3 it comes up as mp4 7.3 mbps.

Has anyone else had this problem?
    Thx
Sorry don't know how to get log?

Are you with the latest version8.0.5.6?

    Hi, Stefan,

Just tried myself, with the latest version8.0.5.6, profile "ps3.default", fixed bitrate 7200 and audio 5.1, converting two titles from "Night at the museum" and "Shrek III" respectively, the results are nice. MediaInfo shows the converted files as MPEG-4, see attached.

Please try version 8.0.5.6 again, or update the firmware of your PS3 to see the result.

    Sincerely Yours
    Malcolm Wang

Well not sure what your problem is as there is only one profile for PS3 in BD Ripper and you said that one works for PS3

If you are posting about an operational problem with either the DVD to Mobile or File to Mobile option of DVD Fab, you will improve the speed and accuracy of the response by providing some information in the very first post that will be needed to assist you.

Posts with all the requested information will be answered first.

First, make note of any error codes or messages that appear in popup boxes and put them in your post. Information on error codes that appear in the DVDFab UI are captured in one of the logs we request below.

DVDFab keeps logs of its activities that supply basic system information and can help pinpoint where and when an error happened and help pinpoint the cause. The default location for these logs on most Windows systems is:

      C:\Documents and Settings\your username\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

The logs are simple text files that can be opened with Windows Notepad. If the size exceeds the forum’s attachment size limit, you may need to delete older entries or copy and paste the relevant ones into a new file.

dvdfab_process.log Attach if DVDFab crashes and the crash report window does not come up or complete correctly or if internal error codes appear in the DVDFab window (“Task Failed…”). Time stamped, most recent at the bottom.

dvdfab_internal.log Attach for all problems. Time stamped, most recent at the bottom. Please edit to include only the most recent or relevant log session.

Make sure that you are using good procedures. Recommendations can be found

      This Information Is Required!!!

Sounds like a problem with your TVersity/PS3 setup.

Prove this by copying a file to the PS3 and playing it locally, then try to play that same file through TVersity.

That will prove where your problem lies and would be more appropriate to ask for help on PS3/TVersity forums.

          Stefan,

i had the same problem a few days before with my PS3MS.

Please set all CUDA Options to software and rip again.
for me this solved the problem.
i think that is a problem in the headers of the mp4-file created by CUDA Encoder.
