DVD Ripper No sound on 8.0.5.6

    Hi,

I just started using DVDFab Ripper vr 8.0.5.6. I have tried ripping a number of files, all have the same result
    -no sound
-running time is incorrect (i.e. running time given as 568.34.05 instead of 1.21.33)
-attempting to scan forward through the file while its playing results in the picture freezing

I have attached all the necessary information, I think...let me know if I left anything out.

    SOURCE VIDEO TYPE:dvd

Hi, just tried both divx & xvid generic audio copy of DVD folder, and confirm I have same problem, unfortunately most v8xxx have been problematic.
I still use v7093 (last v7 made) for most conversions as it works very well, even on recent release DVD's,(but you will probably have to use latest v8xxx to copy to hard drive first, then use v7093 for converting the DVD folder),
v7093 can be downloaded from old apps website (just google it), hope my advice is useful to you,

Hi, glad you are sorted, your welcome,I strongly advise you to keep copies of all versions you download on a data disc or usb stick, because they are handy to reinstall and compare with each other when you have any problems like this. Please keep v7093 on your PC (as well as the latest version)-its one of the best versions, and remember even if it doesn't work with some new discs, simply use the latest version to copy the DVD to your PC,and then use v7093 to convert the DVD folder from your hard drive--this is exactly what I do, and has worked every time so far,
