DVD Ripper DVD ripped file speed issue

hello, i ripped Kill Bill to my hard drive and when i played it on Windows media player , the speed of the video and audio was faster than it should have been. sounded like the chipmonks or something. it was not split, was set to generic avi xvid audiocopy and set at one pass. everything elese was set to default. im runnning windows 7 and i cant think of anything else that might be pertinent.

commn problem

I have the same problem converting to .avi. I see other people are having the same problem. I was converting a regular dvd to avi. Other people are converting from blueray to avi. I am using Windows media Player for playback. The speed problem seems to have started in the middle of December.

OK, I just updated to 8.0.6.5. Problem is gone...for now.
