BD Ripper (3D Plus) Help - Video Playback Is Choppy

I used BD Ripper for the first time tonight to rip Iron Man. I noticed in some chapters the movie freezes for a sec and then continues. This happens a few times throughout the scene and then goes away only to come back later in other scenes. It's like someone is pausing the movie for a split sec and then unpauses it. It's annoying and something I think should not be happening. It happened on both my laptop and HTPC in the same scenes using VLC Player. I originally ripped the file onto an external HD and then transferred that file onto an Internal HD.

Could this be why it's choppy? What did I do wrong or how can I fix it?

Use another softplayer other than VLC Player. Try TMT5 or PowerDVD. Post log files as well

Read what the link below says and post all info asked to your next post reply to this thread

Here is my log after last rip which is slow/choppy in some scenes. I tried using the other two programs you suggested but I couln't download TMT5 and my PowerDVD v.8 would not play my MKV file. Here's the log, hope this helps:

        Hi Urbecrisch,

Please choose mkv.h264.audiocopy profile, choose another audio track (not the TrueHD) to convert again, then play the output file to see if you still get the same Choppy issue or not?

Using mkv.h264.audiocopy seemed to do the trick when I tested out a few chapters where the motion was choppy so all should be well when I copy the full length feature. Thanks.
