DVD Ripper Can't play this formate on Iphone

I have tried to download several different movies, (Killers, The back up plan, flushed away and toy story 3) they download successfully to DVDfab BUT each time I try to download it to my Iphone it says "The movie was not copied because the video format is not supported on the iphone. I have even purchased the file transfer and have the new 8.0.6.0. I am about ready to scream!!! I am so frustrated!!!!
