DVD Ripper avi xvid audiocopy failures on a computer w/an i7 processor

I'm going to start posting logs of all the dvds that cause a failure on my i7. This i7 has 8GB ram and is running Windows 7 64-bit. For those who have been reading my threads, my core2duo running Windows 7 64-bit does not suffer from this issue.

I'm having to cancel out of these b/c they stall out on 0-51% on the second pass...sometimes Windows will tell me FabCore has crashed.

This is trying a 2-pass generic->avi (xvid+audiocopy). Highest frame res that's showed. Audio and frame rate are set to same as source, no split, forced subtitles is checked w/direct render to video.

I don't guess the dvdfab_burn_vso is worth posting everytime.

Are those two logs enough? They seem really similar. I can post another 10 or so that I know will fail if I retry them. I still have quite a bit to go on converting my collection, so there shouldn't be a lack of information. Let me know what else you guys need.

I was going to show that they stall out at 1-pass as well even though they make it through the first pass when 2-pass is selected, but it appears this dvd is going to make it through a single pass. I suspect that means with enough attempts it will make it through a 2-pass? I just don't know how many it will take. I have a stack here that seems to fail over & over and the ones that succeed don't seem to fail during any attempt. I've redone some of them b/c I forgot to check forced subtitles or the correct resolution wasn't available.

Well if this is a sign of what is possible on my failure stack, it appears w/enough attempts a successful rip is possible. Log below...anything else I can provide?

Switching all the codec to software, disabling turbo cpu usage, disabling the path player didn't help.

This brute force tactic of hoping multiple attempts would push through a success isn't working. The same dvd has failed 5 times at the exact same point.

So in another thread I questioned whether my video card could affect the outcome and according to this http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=10800 it seems like it is possible; although switching the codec to software didn't help. I have an ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series according to my device manager...something makes me think it's an HD 5750.

Tried to move onto another dvd and got another failure...so depressing.

Maybe it's time to switch out that sub render filter....

This computer is brand new! How quickly do those filters have to be replaced?
