DVD Ripper 1st Gen iPod video using DVDFAB 8

I have recently figured out that by ripping a DVD into iPOD format using DVDFAB 8 will not allow my iPod touch 1st gen to play it. I had to go back to V 7 to get the video to work on my iPod. Is there a fix for Version 8 to allow playback on the first gen iPod touch? thanks for you your time.

I have a itouch 1 as well.
I'm at work at the moment, but I will try to get my settings on here after I gt home.
If I remember correcly I had to mess with the screen ratio to get it to work correctly.
