Hi, sorry also not trying to Hijack this thread but have some continued questions on this topic.
I am ripping bluerays to either mkv or to mp4 (ipad setting
MKV
2pass
deinterlacing off
448kbps audio at 200% volume (otherwise audio is very low)
MP4 (ipad h264 + aac)
2 pass
deinterlacing off
256kbps audio at 200% volume (otherwise audio is very low)
my first problem is lately I have been ending up with no file (empty folder)
its frustrating specially when the process takes 16 hours to complete and then there is nothing to show for it.
What am I doing wrong?
I just had this happen with GI Joe and with The other Guys
I have read that it might be due to using the DTS hd audio?
Can anyone recommend any better settings?
