BD Ripper (3D Plus) wrong output size when ripping blu ray to mkv

Not sure if it something I am doing wrong I am setting the filesize to about 1.5gb but when the encoding finishes its output is around 3gb,

I set it to mkv dts sound remove hd audio and the display is 720p

You are keeping DTS audio it is probably 1.5gb in size as it is the same as source and not changed. Try using "mkv.h264.ac3" profile to see if you get the file size you want
