BD Ripper (3D Plus) Multiple items in queue fail

I tried looking through the forums for this issue, but couldn't find it and the search function wasn't working for me.

When I put multiple items in the queue, the first item will encode correctly. The remaining items fail and leave a file that is roughly 320 bytes. If I restart the job, only the first item from the remaining encodes will encode correctly. I basically have to restart the queue after one successful encode, which defeats the purpose of the queue.

This happens with both 8.0.6.8 and beta version 8.0.7.2

Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi S S,

I just tried V8072beta using profile(mp4.h264.aac) with 5 conversion tasks in Queue box, all of them finished the conversion process successfully.

Please open Common Settings->General->A/V Codec, set all the video decoder options and video encoder options as "Software", then convert again to see the result.

I bet you are right, Cici.

I think it is the DXVA GPU acceleration which means that he is using an ATI card which is less than optimal for encoding.

Thanks Cici and Greg. I switched everything to software, then ran a batch from the new Futurama volume last night. All the episodes were encoded without a problem. You guys rock.

No problems. Glad you are now running OK.

FYI, ATI cards are sub-optimal when using them for encoding. NVidia cards which use CUDA seem to give better results although I personally will not use either CUDA or DXVA.

I must be an old fart purist !!!
