Other Problems with DVD/BD ripped for Apple TV, iTunes

    Hello all,

I have been ripping disks for over a year now, and all of a sudden, my rips are not recognized by iTunes as movies. Let me clarify, they are imported as movies, but in "Get Info" are shown with the music tabs, specifically, lyrics instead of artwork. All that Apple could say was to try another ripper and see what happens. The ripped video is perfect, but I cannot attach artwork to it making it kinda bad for use with Apple TV.

    Ideas?

    Ted.

This time it did do through without the narration, but it is not recognized by iTunes for Artwork.

If you encode with CUDA, the result is not properly recognized in iTunes. It has been reported many times, but apparently is being ignored by the development staff.

wrong and besides ted_roy is using an old outdated version of DVDFab. Should use latest release before starting help thread as the problem may have been fixed already since latest release is DVDFab 8.0.7.3 and the version ted_roy using is DVDFab 8.0.6.8

I just tested with 8.0.7.2 (BluRay Image -> iPad, using plain iPad profile) and it still behaves as reported earlier. Unless something was fixed between the 8.0.7.2 beta and the latest 8.0.7.3, I don't think this issue has been addressed yet.

          Regards, Martin

          P.S: I reported this for 8.0.5.6 here:
And then again in this thread:

Thank you all for your input. As the new version did just come out a day before I posted, I have updated my software and am trying it again. I will post the results in about an hour.

            Ted.

I have disabled CUDA and all my rips are working as expected. When I upgraded , it must have re-set that setting. Working as expected now.

Thank you all for your help.

                Ted.
