Would it be possible to have an option to extract subtitles to .srt file format. As that format is the most common not .sub format

I would suggest not.
As I have posted MANY, MANY times before, the SUB/IDX subtitles are held in a graphical format and it requires a whole, behind the scenes, OCR engine.
As there are plenty of other freeware utilities out there that claim to convert them, why the hell would Fab open up another can of worms.
Just look at the heartache that the PS3/Cinivia is causing. I would be tempted to say "Fab will not work for PS3 POS's""Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
