BD Ripper (3D Plus) Artifacts on i7 and X6 ?

Hi all.
i´m getting some artifacts when converting BD to MKV (15Mbit 2 pass) since i switched from a Q6600 Quad to an i7-2600k.
I´ve read around to forum and have seen that most people with Hexacores have that problem.
Are u guys already work on a solution of this problem ? Is there anything i can do to avoid this? Maybe use an older version ?
Havent tried to disable HT, since its a big performance gain on programs which can make use of multiple threads...

edit: used version 8.0.7.2b and 8.0.7.3 since i got the sandy bridge..

By artifacts, more information will be helpful for troubleshooting: logs, screencaptures, etc...etc...

Well the logs are pretty clean, and the artifacting isnt very bad, so its difficult for me to get a screen capture. they only apeer 5-10 times in the whole movie, and last for about half a second i think...
but i will try and post it...

Hi, bimme,

Is this a universal problem or just on this particular movie?

You can copy this movie to HDD first and play the copied movie on your PC to see if it has the artifacts you mentioned, if not, then load the copied folder as source to do the conversion to see the result.

P.S. Before copying and converting, make sure you set video decoder and encoder as software at Common Settings->General->A/V Codec

Managed to get a capture...not the best but it shows the problem.
I think it doesnt occure on all movies, made a few with the sandy brigde, and about 2 out of 5 have the artifacts problem.
When i used my Q6600, i set everything to software, cause CUDA wasn´t working for a long time.
After CUDA was working, i set everything to CUDA.
With both i had no problems.
Now i set the decode to software, and the encode to software&CUDA.
This give me the best performance.

ive tried with everything set to software -> artifacts got worse....
converted from HDD, source has no artifacts, final mkv has artifacts everytime on different places/different times...

it should be a cpu problem with more than 4 CPU cores,
and it doesnt matter if they are physical or logical (Hexacore and i7 with HT)

Despicable Me has artifacts,
Legend of the Guardians doesnt have artifacts.
Both sources are H264 already...

Disabled Hyperthreading, and the artifacts are gone. But its massive performance hit converting without HT.

plz fix the multi-thread issues.

I have the same CPU 2600k and the same issue with multiple movies. Turning off Hyper-Threading also solved it for me and with a huge hit to performance..
