    Audio Sync problem

Lightning recording is enabled. I may try disabling it to see if it makes a difference.

    Hi jbinkley60
I am not sure if this will help but, have you tried unticking the Enable Lightning Recoding in A/VCodec, to see if it makes any difference?

    BD Ripper Audio Synch Problem

I've just had the same problem with 'STONE' --- No previous problems at all with other even newer rips(BD to PS3 and AC3 True 5.1 HD)) --- I'm hoping that this is a 'one off' as I'll be trying out the latest BD releases (Black Swan, Tangled etc) in the next couple of days --- I downloaded 'Infomedia' and all seems to be as it's supposed to be but ....... Any suggestions would be welcome. --- I don't bother with DVD rips any more - not good enough video quality

Also, I should know better but I have a tendency to play with settings, which I really should'nt do without first noting what the original settings were...... Can anyone confirm that 448 kbs is the correct (or default) setting for the Audio Format AAC bitrate?

Finally --- Does anyone know if there is is likely to be a discernable difference in audio quality between AC3 True 5.1 HD and AC3.2 --- I have a Yamaha/Bose multi channel audio system

    Audio Sync problem

I ripped my Deja Vu Blu Ray to a 9Gig DVD format. Then ripped that to VOB format and it works perfectly. If DVDFab can rip it down to a normal DVD format it ought to be able to rip it to m2ts without getting the audi/video out of sync. I'll retest on a future release of DVDFab.

    BD Ripper Audio Sync problem

For what it is worth, I just used the same settings on the Coyote Ugly DVD, which had the same PCM audio track and other similar audio tracks as Deja Vu and the result was perfect. There is definently something with how DVDfab is ripping Deja Vu. Tomorrow I may try to rip it to DVD format and see if that works.

    Here's the Coyote Ugly log:

Deja Vu audio sync has been a perennial problem since it was originally released on DVD.

In fact it is one of my test DVD's to see whether Fab is behaving itself.

Perhaps one of the "OLD HEADS" that have a BR copy would like to comment?

    Audio Sync problem

I've ripped a couple hundred Blu-Ray DVDs to m2ts format. I have one which I have an audio sync problem that I have not been able to fix, the movie is Deja Vu. The main audio track is PCM but it also has a AC-3/5.1 secondary track. I've done an m2ts.passthrough rip of the PCM audio track and the audio is out of sync.

If I try an m2ts.passthrough on the AC3/5.1 track there is no audio track on the m2ts file. I get video but no audio. I then tried an m2ts.ac3.high_quality rip against the AC3/5.1 trck and the audio was out of sync.
