DVD Ripper Can anyone help with this problem

hi I've just purchased DVD Ripper. What I want to do is copy a DVD onto a memory stick and then play it in my standalone DVD player. I've done 3 films and put them on the memory stick no problem , but they will run for about half of the film's length and then just stop. I've been converting from DVD to AVI format and that seems to give me good picture quality and sound. I was just wondering if there is any settings I can challenge to make the complete film run properly. Thank you for your time and experience in this matter.
:) never look down on anyone unless you're looking down at them to help them up:)

See if your player will use a different file type. There are splice points in many DVDs where the AVI conversion will trip up various players. MKV with H264 would be a better choice if your player supports it.
