DVD Ripper iPod Touch 4th gen settings

Using Windows 7 64-bit to rip using the iPod/iPhone settings, profile of iPod Touch using the Edit defaults since I'm not sure what to use.
The file works fine on my computer, but I get picture with no sound on my iPod Touch. I even tried a few different profiles with the same results.
What settings should I be using??

    Hi mozesann
Give this a try, on the ripper screen click the edit button near the bottom right of the screen and choose 128 kbps as your bit rate bottom left and try again.
    Hope this helps

What would the settings be for converting to the ipod Touch 4th gen?

          Hi mozesann
I am not sure as I do not have one, maybe some one who has one will chime in on this post.
          I was happy to help

Should work the same, the only difference is no phone on the Touch.
How to post the internal log

Sure thing, the iPhone 4 can go as high as 160, but at 128 the file should work fine on the Touch.

I have no problems now ripping, but if I try to convert files I get the no sound results (converting an wav file) or an error message (converting one of the mp4 files from before).
These are the settings I used for both ripping & converting for use on the iPod Touch:
                  Device: ipod
                  ipod Touch
                  Output Type: Video +Audio
                  Video format: h264
Encoding Method: Fast encoding (1 pass)
                  Fixed Bitrate: 640 kbps
                  No Split
                  Framerate: 24 fps
                  Frame Resolution: 480x320
                  Audio bitrate: 128 kbps
                  Channel: Stereo
                  Volume 100%
                  Then I got this error:
                  Process Failed!
                  08:07:54 Conversion: one pass
                  08:07:59 Work 1 failed, Error=504.00 1 2
                  08:08:01 Process failed!
The internal log contained this message:
                  ------ begin mobile work(1/1) ------

                  4m 18.90s: create config(3)
                  4m 18.91s: convert profile(ipodTouch.mp4.h264.aac)
                  4m 18.93s: 4m 18.97s: not set correct fourcc for video(28)
                  4m 18.97s: info: set output video frame_rate(24/1)
                  4m 20.08s: h264_encode: encode param profile(0) level(30) bitrate(640)
                  4m 24.17s: ------ mobile work failed(504.00 1 2 ) ------

                  I have DVDFav version 8.0.8.5

That's a Windows error caused by a pooched registry. Download CCleaner, it's free and scan the registry and remove bad entries. If that doesn't fix the error uninstall DVDFab and rerun CCleaner, reinstall Fab.
