    Hi 4kids4me,

We need your internal log file to check where the problem is.

    The default location is:

    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

    Thanks in advance.

Try 8.0.8.7 QT, it cleared that issue up for me.
How to post the internal log

I had this problem too. So I then downloaded 8.0.8.7 QT and now the voice doesn't sync up right. Kinda frustrated with this...

8.0.8.5 DVD to ipod heavy nasty pixelation

Hi i have updated to the latest version 8.0.8.5, and I am seeing similar isses with all DVD to ipod conversions. Heavy nasty pixelation on 1 pass which i've never seen before in previous versions even using 1 pass. If i manually do the conversion through the UI and use 2 pass, the video is at it was in all previous versions.

I've uninstalled 8.0.8.5, purged the C:\Program Files (x86)\DVDFab 8\*.* directory, reinstalled the previos version and the pixelation was gone. Then again reinstalled 8.0.8.5 and the pixelation returned.

I've used the same command line for couple years now and there have been no driver or OS changes to my machine. The only change is DVDFab version.

              Heres my command line:
              /MODE "DVDIPOD" /SRC "{0}" /DEST "{1}" /VOLUME "{2}" /DISPLAYFORCEDSUB "YES" /TITLE "AUTO" /AUDIOTYPE "AC-3/2" /PROFILE "ipod.mpeg4" /REMOVEDTS "YES" /REWIND "YES" /CLOSE

              Hope someone has a solution.
              Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I've been using the latest beta--8087qt and on single pass conversions of DVD to ipod I get heavy pixilation and lots of green.

I've attached my log of many and various failures with different settings.

Hi dgjl, Please click on "Edit" button to open "Conversion settings", then adjust the Video bitrate as 23.976fps to see the result, you'd better set the output framerate same as your source disc's framerate.

                      Hi Sunny,

23.976 is the default frame rate setting so it's what I've been using throughout. If I set the bitrate to the same as the disk wouldn't that mean that it wouldn't be compressed?

Frame rate is one of the factors affecting movie file size and quality. The other factors that depends the output file compressed or uncompressed are Video bitrate and audio bitrate you set in Conversion settings. Video framerate refer to the speed at which the image is refreshed. The higher frame rate a movie has the smoother objects move in the movie.

To avoid possible a/v sync issue, we suggest users to select video framerate the same as source disc's.

Please try using iPad.h264 profile to see if you still get Pixelating Video in Itunes.
