BD Ripper (3D Plus) Slow to failed twop-pass to WMV (xbox)

8.0.8.5 version.

Trying to rip some titles - Fifth Element Blu-Ray - first pass goes quickly, but painful second pass that usually fails at some point.

First pass at 55-70fps, second pass bogs down to 0.2fps.

Ripping in xbox mode, 1980x1080p to wmv. 15000kbps (want to retain as much quality as possible).

This has happened with a few titles.

Any ideas?

I know this post is old, but for those who run across this on a search: there is no benefit to using two passes on a constant bitrate encode. It is only used for variable bitrate. And if you are interested in the best quality and dont. Are about file size just go with a high 15k CBR WMV - will encode quicker and with the best quality.
