DVD Ripper Hideous DVD to mpeg4 rips

Using DVD Ripper to iPod - Win 7 x64 - I've tried 2 different PC's - results are the same, the output is completely unwatchable. There are huge compression artifacts and flicking/jitter all over the image, and also sync issues.

I tried 2 pass, but that just hangs. I've tried upping the encode rate, and various output resolutions - no difference.

Is there any way to get this working, or am I just at the mercy of the next release hopefully fixing this junk?

    Hi timba-n-tango
Maybe you should post your logs the default location is:
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s) and post right here.

Also give this thread a read through from my friend GregiBoy and post all the information as we are not mind readers.

      I have tried 2 different DVD's, multiple titles, 2 PC's, both PC's Win 7 x64.

I have attached the internal log, plus a screen shot of the config. There are no errors.

If I try to run 2 pass, it just hangs and I have to kill off the app.

          Hi:
I think this issue fixed in the latest build 8088beta QT. And I did, not repro your issue.
          Everything is success.

          Thanks,
          Potti

Fabulous results! Using the 8088QT Beta worked much better. No crazy compression artifacts and dialog is pretty well synced.

              Thanks for the help.
