BD Ripper (3D Plus) Best Quality? CUDA?

I've been transcoding my blu-ray discs to h264 with CUDA and the two-pass option. However, this article states that the quality of CUDA is quite low:



Would I be better off turning off CUDA and using only one pass? I imagine that this would be faster than using two passes with CUDA.

BTW - I don't have a Sandy Bridge system.
