I'm quite new to DVD-Fab and try to rip some DVD's into Divx/Xvid avi format.
With most movies everything works fine but there are some DVD's where the conversion to avi does not seem to work as i imagine it.
The symptoms are the following: I am using the "generic.avi.divx.mp3" profile with a fixed bitrate of 1800 kbps and 2-pass encoding...the default settings i am using can be seen in the attached screenshot.
DVD-Fab then tells me, that the file size will be 1936 MB after conversion.
But after conversion has succeeded the outcome is an avi file with ca. 850 MB...and the bitrate is not the 1800 kbps i selected but only 856 kbps.
What am i doing wrong?
