DVD Ripper Having trouble with ripping the intelligence men

    hi all

I'm having trouble ripping the film called the intelligence man. I copied it to my hard drive no problems. But then I tried to copy it to my external hardrive in a avi format, and this error message comes up straightaway.

    Conversion: one pass: 16:33:39
    Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 1 1 : 16:33:39

I hope someone can help with this problem thank you for all your help.

I don't think this error has anything to do with the destination of your file, but conversion itself. Are you using acceleration? What profile are you using and what settings. I'm afraid more info is needed here to help you. Logs are needed too. Please describe what are you doing in greater detail, post logs here and come back...

      hi

The information I can give you is limited. But I have tried a experiment I was running the new version of fab 8.0.96 when I originally tried to ripp the DVD. I then went back to version 8.0.92 and that works fine not a error at all. I have not changed anything on my PC expect going back to the old version. So it must be a bug with the 8.0.9.6 version. Thank you for your response in this matter I appreciate it.

I'm glad that you have solution in this particular instance. However, we asking info not just to help you, but to improve DVDFab, catch the bug... and you are not helping. Fact that you rolled back to older version aren't gonna help you with future releases because bug will still be there. I hope you've got my drift...

                hi

Just to let you know I have downloaded and tried version 8.0.9.7 . And still the same error comes up which is.

                Conversion: one pass: 20:48:15
                Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 1 1 : 20:48:15

I have also tried it with pathplayer on and off.

                I hope this helps...
