I've installed beta 8.1.0.1. According to the release notes there is a fix for the conversion settings 'Fix: All known problems with new profile implementation, like conversion settings cannot be changed.' Unfortunately there still seems to be a problem with the conversion settings. After making any adjustment to the bit rate or file size, etc. if I click 'Set as Default' it resets everything back to the original settings.
