      Hi NY Pop
      Unless you are using a NVidia card with the latest drivers installed I suggest setting all options to software.
      Please Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, set Video Decoder to Software and set Video Encoder to Software restart Fab and try again.

      Also your drive has a firmware update and you will find it here

      NOTE: If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.

            Your problem is not a "same problem". In fact only "same" between your problem and OP's problem is same title - Gnomeo and Juliet. What you have is a bad disc on your hands, scratched, dirty or badly pressed. Clean and slightly polish disc, and try again. If it doesn't help, go back to the counter for exchange.
