DVD Ripper Copying DVD To PS3 Format - Windows 7

Hello, I just purchased the DVDFab ripper and tried to copy over a DVD to PS3 format. However, it always hangs about 20% into it. I tried to use the DVD Copy first - which worked fine - and then convert it to PS3 format using DVDFab ripper, but it froze again. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the response. I updated to 8.1.0.3 and same problem - it suddenly stops at around 20% recording. Though I should say that the speed that it reached in getting to ~20% was noticeably faster! But still freezes.

It gets to even as high as 80+ fps of encoding. Then once it hits a point, that encoding rate starts to drop. The time increases. And eventually the encoding rate falls off completely. And the time resets to 00:00:00 And nothing happens - for hours. But the percentage complete never budges.

Try ripping the main movie to the hard drive and using that folder as the source. Check that all the A/V codecs are set to software and the Lightening-Recoding box is not checked. It really doesn’t matter though, even if it does complete successfully the file won’t play on your PS3.
