Good day,
I have been unsuccessful in finding a thread in the forum regarding the quality of blacks when ripping a BD to .mkv.
I have tried to rip several of my BDs (X-Men Wolverine, Prince of Persia, Blade Runner and others) and all have washed blacks if I don't use the remux setting. Any h264 setting, with any compression size or video codec gives the same "greyish" result. I am therefore stuck producing 20Go .mkv files.
I have seen some beautiful, rich blacks in .mkv files that run around 8Go but I can't manage to do that. Can anyone help by providing the proper settings and/or process to follow?
Thank you
