I am a long time user of DVDfab, and have been using DVDripper to convert dvd's to play on my PS3 for years. The past few versions of QT have been exhibiting this same behavior for me as well. The conversion will usually get 40-50% completed, then stall. I've been reverting to a previous version, and trying new version as they are released to see if the issue is resolved, but as of 8.1.0.6 the issue is still there. I will attempt another conversion with 8.1.0.6, and post the logs.
