I installed the latest version and have discovered that something has changed, but I am not sure it is a good thing. All options are selected by default. All captions and deinterlacing are most noticable. In the past only one subtitle was selected, almost always English, and deinterlacing was never selected, unless it was needed, if the original was interlaced. In the last several versions Deinterlaced was only selected on some of the previews or special features.

However the selection of all subtitles is the most annoying, especially when there are 12 or more subtitles on some. It makes me question the settings the software is selecting....

Try going into common settings and setting the subpicture like in the attachment, I don't see this the way mine is set? Attachment:

That solved it, the default selects none. Not sure why that is, but that is fixed.

It's always a good idea to check your common settings after installing an updated version, sometimes things change. Anyway I'm glad you are going again
