DVD Ripper No artwork tab in iTunes / iPad

I ripped a movie from DVD to iPad h.264 format. In iTunes, when I click on "Get Info," the "artwork" tab is in grey and I cannot access it to add my own cover art. I checked DVDfab, and all the common settings for A/V Codec are for "software." Any suggestions on what I can do?

    Hi mbmelb,
Please update your iTunes first and then try again,

I tried to update iTunes but received a message that I am using the latest version (10.4). Any other suggestions?

        Hi mbmelb,

Please try to uninstall your iTunes, then download and install the latest version of iTunes, I remember one of our users fixed this kind of issue in this way, please give it a try.

        Sincerely,

          Found a solution

I finally resolved the problem. Hopefully, my workaround will help anyone who has a similar issue.

I have two computers. The problem with artwork did not work on my iMac. However, when I connected my iPad to my Windows XP computer, I was able to add the artwork via iTunes.

Not a perfect solution, but it worked for me.
